Cobh SAC has announced that next year’s International Deep Sea Angling Festival will take place over 4 days between Monday 3rd Sept and Friday 7th Sept 2018 – with Wednesday being a rest day.

As every angler who has fished this can attest to the fishing is great, the banter is great, and the craic in the pubs afterwards is mighty.

Pat O’Shea on the John Boy in 2014 – “The Thursday and Friday of 2014 Festival saw great fishing. All five boats were fishing along a row of pinnacles with fantastic pollack fishing. Nearly all anglers had pollack of 3 and 4 kilos. There were a few pollack of 5 kilos also caught that day.”
