The NCFFI Junior All Ireland Feeder Championships was fished at the weekend…
14 October: The fishing was a disappointment for the youth anglers who turned out to fish the championships today on Lough Sillan. But it was great to see some of our youth internationals getting together for the first time since the world champioships, aspiring feeder anglers and newcomers together on the bank.
Congratulations to our 2017 Feeder Champions, Charlie Richards U15 and James O’Doherty U25. 2nd in the Under 15’s was Roisin Bohan and 3rd John Browne. Mark Edwards was 2nd in the U25’s with Steven Whyte 3rd. Well done to everyone who took part.
The top three winners in each category received medals and trophies along with Tubertini UK LTD tackle prizes sponsored by the NCFFI and Inland Fisheries Ireland. Not to disappoint everyone was treated to some hot food after a gruelling day and went home with a small gift from NuFish and Ringerbaits to help them along their way. Thank you to our International Feeder Manager Brenton Sweeney for running the event.
