Whilst a number events were cancelled due to the inclement weather the Lower Bann CAA anglers braved the conditions for the latest round of the league on the Movanagher Canal…

11 February: Movanagher canal hosted the 10 anglers who braved the elements for today’s latest round of the Lower Bann winter league. Winter was definitely the best way to describe conditions as frequent, blustery snow showers added to the challenge. Despite this most anglers had plenty of good sport.

Mike Perry mastered the conditions best when he weighed in just short of 11kg from peg 5. Aaron Galbraith 2nd with just under 7kg From peg 7. Ron Jordon 3rd with 6jg from peg 4 and Hugh Elder 4th on peg 1 with 4jg.
