Ballyshunnock is also fishing well with Tench being the main catch at present and water levels are up on the lake at the moment! Weights being caught are averaging 3lbs to 7lbs. Ballyshunnock has been a hive of activity lately with the lake hosting a range of angling related events. One of the recent events saw St Mary’s Primary School, Dungarvan attending Ballyshunnock for a field trip regarding fishing on the lake. Some of the staff from IFI was on site on the day to give an insight into Macro invertebrates and fishing techniques. Ballyshunnock also held a fishing course for disabled Anglers on the lake recently and by all accounts an enjoyable day was had by the participants.
