Frank Maunsell from the Owenmore Fishery reports:
19 June: We have had a heavy mist in the area for the past few days which has resulted in beautiful fishing water. The seatrout are reaching the lakes. They have been caught with sealice on them. There was too much wind to fish the White Lake but the other lake Finnertys would be more shaded and fished reasonable well.
It was difficult fishing in the river yesterday with the strong wind and there were a lot of flies lost. Couple of Seatrout caught in the river and a grisle. More rain today and this will be the end of it for a while.
