The sea Angling off Courtmacsherry in the last while has been great. From the Self-drives our anglers are getting pollack, bass, flounder, rays and dabs.
The charter boats are getting conger, skate, bullhuss, ling, pollack, coalfish and cod in the bay and the most species in a day was 21.
Offshore fishing on the wrecks has also been good. Our best day was a haul of 60 ling. Heaviest a fine fish caught by Tom van Lohuizen weighing in at 24lbs, I’ve no doubt an Irish Specimen when caught. We had other fish of 20, 18 and 16lbs also landed.
