Jason Moran from our Carrick on Suir base tells us there are excellent reports coming from the lower Suir beats after a small spate after the bank holiday.

The Clonmel and District Salmon and Trout Anglers Association reported their clubs first fly caught salmon on 27 May and another salmon caught and released the following day. Late last week and early this week there were additional reports of salmon to 16lb caught and released.

Go fishing…
Anglers are reminded that the River Suir is all catch and release this year.
