Sean Maguire’s charter fishing boat, Lady Gwen II, went back in the water on 08 March. Following a spell of decent weather Sean was ready for his first trip of the year and to get out there and see what was biting. On Monday Sean and crew of willing anglers hit the seas. Fishing was better than expected with a few species caught. They weren’t fishing long before they had their first pollack in the boat. Coalfish were also found and small ling were caught too. In Sean’s words, “First day fishing of the new season and what a beautiful day to be on the Ocean.”
