Anglers out with Mark Gannon and Sean Maxwell from Courtmacsherry Sea Angling Centre are getting some great fishing in the last week. Amongst the catches was one of the first blue shark caught this year.

The 7th June saw a blue shark caught by Graham from the Dublin Fire brigade crew, while fishing off Courtmacsherry from the Lady Louise skippered by Séan Maxwell.

June 10th saw another ton up Specimen skate for the Lady Louise. Skipper Sean Maxwell also has the heaviest shark landed so far this year.

Conditions freshened on the 11th but Mark’s and Sean’s anglers had good fun gilling for pollack off Dunworley in the shelter. They were thrilled to see an unexpected john dory in the catch.
