With wind playing havoc on our Shark fishing focus turned to Tope. An Individuals group last week brought a fine 39lb Tope for Jim Murray, an avid Coarse and Pike angler it was Jim’s first Tope and he wasn’t let down.
Michelle Van Breugel’s Family trip on Thursday in a sheltered inshore mark produced a fine Tope for the Main Man, his first Irish Tope in 10Metres, 1/3 Nm offshore.
On a recent odd flat day we took a 30Nm steam out to meet a Welsh friend of mine, fished a few wrecks, had a chat, meet and greet and back home for Tea.
The wrecks weren’t fishing well at all, biggest Pollock was 8.5lb, but its promising. Watch this space ?? This is something we may look into.
