Muckno competition stretches back in action

Storm like conditions spoils the Feedermasters event last Sunday on turbulent Lough Muckno. Last year’s quality champion Rory Dunne was overheard describing his day on peg 49 at Concra Wood as “…like fishing the Atlantic”.

Wet and windy, bream weather!

Congratulations to all of the winners and to all the tough competitors who weathered the elements. The huge shoals of roach are just beginning to return in numbers but conditions today saw more bream, like those in picture caught on most sections. The next qualifier provisionally set for 26th July and with an 80 competitor limit early booking is advisable. Those already qualified are also welcome to enter.
