Aidan Traynor from the Connacht Predator Anglers was in touch with news of their upcoming competition.
The Connacht Predator Anglers are holding a multi-species predator competition on Sunday 26th July on Lough Corrib, to raise funds for Galway Hospice. Among the great prizes on offer are a day’s guided fishing on Corrib for ferox trout with Tomi Kurman, and a day’s charter boat fishing for a group with John Fleming from Blue Shark Angling Galway.
Scores will be determined by the combined length of each team’s longest pike, longest perch and longest trout. As always it is a 100% catch and release event. The competition will be fished out of Greenfields from 9am to 6pm.
€20 per boat entry will go to Galway Hospice and top predator guide Tomi Kurman has donated a day targeting ferox trout on Corrib with him, which we are raffling for just €10 a ticket with all proceeds also going to Galway Hospice.
