The first leg of the 2020 West Coast Shore League will be held this Saturday, February 29th.

Galway Bay SAC are the host club for the Wildhunter Open, sponsored by Wildhunter, Galway’s newest tackle shop, situated in Liosban Estate on the Tuam Road.

The venue is Renvyle beach, past Renvyle House Hotel in Connemara, a venue which can throw up a surprising mix of species and numbers at this time of year. Shore anglers from Connacht and further afield will be eagerly anticipating the start of the match angling season in the west, after a long winter with plenty of inclement weather.
