Ewings Sea Angling and Boat Charters made it out for a short trip after some terrible recent weather had kept the MV Sarah Marie at her moorings.
It being close to Halloween, they decided to visit one of their more reliable regular haunts, there they found some exceptional pollack fishing on light gear. The mild October has kept the water temperatures high and that has kept the fish active – so fish were taken on nearly every cast. As well as numerous pollack, anglers caught big wrasse, ling, coalie, pouting and several big shots of mackerel.
