Father & daughter scoop 1st prize at Connaught Open Gold Medal Shore Championships

On Saturday 19th March, the Connaught Open Gold Medal Shore Championships were fished on Ross Beach, Killala  Co. Mayo. While stormy conditions prevailed during the afternoon, the wind eased towards the evening providing more favorable conditions. In the end,  John Marshall, Donegal, won the overall gold medal while his daughter Ava scooped 1st prize in the junior session completing the family victory”!
