Mick Flanagan of Midlands Angling and Shooting has been on the trail of sub zero pike in recent days with old pal Dominic Rickards from Brighton. Dominic takes advantage of his work trips to Ireland to get out on the water after some midland pike, but hadn’t been able to get over since pre-lockdowns.
Thankfully, the pike were obliging on the day and the pair managed to get some nice fish before the sun set into the gloom. Not a bad day on the water.
