Sean Ward had a recent fishing trip to West Cork with his dad Nicky and brother Conor. Nicky & Conor are both specimen anglers and they were targeting gilthead bream. Sean decided to go after some golden grey mullet he had seen topping in the area as he had never caught one before. He spent a while casting and re-casting towards the shoal and suddenly the rod bent over as he struck into a decent fish. After a while, he brought the fish to the net and was delighted to see that it was a specimen-sized golden grey. Not a bad way to open your species account! Well done Sean!
