Killybegs Mariners member Gavin Dorrian enjoyed some great shore action for smooth-hounds during the week. Great to see them so early in the year with the good weather and crab on the ground.
Earlier in the week, the Mariners crew had some great mixed fishing aboard Adrian Molloy’s “Deep Blue”. A total of 18 species were caught on the day including a new club boat record tub gurnard of 35cm for Gavin.
Previously, some Mariners members were out with Killybegs Fishing Trips and managed to catch a total of 15 species. However, the highlight of the day was a fantastic ling of 97cm for Ryan Mc Ginley.
