Lisdoonvarna Fanore Sea Angling Club are currently in the midst of their International Angling Week, a series of competitions in north Clare that bring together anglers from near and far. Some great catches have been reported from the first competitions, and we hope to have a full report next week. For now, though, we are sharing some photos from the junior competition held yesterday on Fanore beach. The weather turned on in style and it looks like all the young participants had a great time.
It’s great to see young people getting involved in the sport, and hopefully we will see some of them featuring in the main competitions in coming years.
