John Browne reports on the third round of the Oaklands Winter League fished at the weekend…
We had the third round of the winter league at Oaklands on Sunday. There were lovely conditions on the day for the match. As usual the end pegs came up trumps on the day.
Big congrats to Paddy O’Regan winning the day with 53.610 kg. Second on the day in the other corner peg Tommy Ryan netting 36.447 kg from peg 58. Running in third from another end peg 10 was John Townson bagging 22.250kg.
And also a fantastic result from young Conor Fitzharris 3rd heaviest weight on the day with 12.750 kg.
