Until last Saturday, eight-year-old Euan McKee from Carnlough in Antrim had never caught a pike despite many attempts. However, his luck changed completely recently when he and his father Ryan fished Lough Erne with Peter Neeson. On a day when conditions came good and the pike were hungry, Euan landed a total of nine altogether! The fish weighed in at between two and fourteen pounds, the biggest and best being taken on a trolled soft plastic.
Well done Euan – a day that he’ll never forget!
