Seven year old Senan O’Reilly from Tullamore has been putting in the hard hours fishing over the summer without having much to show for it. (We’ve all had that experience at some stage Senan…). But, undeterred by his lack of luck, he was back on the water last week with his dad Chris, as a family camping holiday near Lough Derg provided him with an opportunity to get on the water again. And this time, lady luck was with him, as a fine 7lb pike seized his Akara Minnow lure and was expertly brought to the boat for a quick photo. So now he’s off the mark, I’m sure there will be no stopping him, and lets hope we’ll hear a few more tales of his fishy exploits in years to come. Well done Senan! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
