Despite high water all week on the Laune there were 3 salmon reported from Beat 1 for the week ending 07 April. Two of the fish, weighing 8lbs and 6.5lbs, were caught spinning and one weighing 10lbs was taken on worms
Anglers on the Flesk managed 1 fish of about 8lb, which fell to a ball of worms.
