Cormac Walsh of the Lure Fishing Podcast has been hitting the Wexford shores for bass lately and doing quite well fishing the ebbing tides into darkness.
The hard lures have been doing the business for Cormac, mainly the IMA Lures UK & Ireland Sasuke 120 on a straight steady retrieve. There have been big flocks of birds working offshore – so there must be a lot of bait in the water or them to focus on.
Cormac thinks that the bass are still scarce enough close in, but maybe the stronger winds recently will stir things up a bit for them…
