Although the weather has been difficult lately, Sean Maguire, who skippers the Isle of Aran charter boat in west Clare, can usually find sheltered fishing in the Shannon Estuary for his guests. Last weekend he had a family group from Dungarvan, then another regular group from Dublin/Belfast.
