Cormac Walsh of The Lure Fishing Podcast found a few bass stirring over the last week. Cormac was pleased to see bunches of smaller fish around, but it was even nicer to see a few bigger fish on the hunt. Most of the fish he encountered were either side of the full moon during the bigger run of tides.
Normally the shallow divers come into full effect in autumn but with the presence of a few big lady’s in spring, Cormac couldn’t resist throwing his favourite Sasuke 120s into some likely spots. A nice slow retrieve in shallow water did the job and Cormac reckons you just can’t beat an aggressive take on a hard lure!
