Baltic north easterlies blew across the airport beach for the 10 hardy souls at league outing number 8 but there was a nice selection of fish caught which made for an enjoyable evening’s fishing.
There were 6 species of fish caught including bass of 35cm for Proinnsias, trout to 53cm for Shane, coley, flounder to 34cm for Darren, turbot and plaice to 21cm for Chris.
Longest flattie prize outside the top 2 was won by Dessie McGinley with a 32cm flounder. In 2nd place with flounder and bass was Proinnsias Doherty. And in 1st place for the 2nd outing in a row with 3 flounder to 34cm and turbot to 20cm was Darren Rawdon.
The next fixture is pencilled in for this Friday 21 November evening at Mullaghmore near side.
