Killybegs Fishing Trips managed to get out on the water a couple of times recently. Check out their short report below…

Back at the general fishing yesterday. We had really strong easterly winds, but still managed to get the day in. Great to see plenty of mackerel in the harbour, with some nice herring mixed in. Fishing was very slow at first but picked up after a couple of hours, with a good run of pollack and a nice cod.

On our second outing we had more good pollack as well as some fine ling.

Hopefully we’ll have a good run now leading up to Christmas.
