Skipper John Fleming reports that the weather has been most unhelpful of late, but when a weather window has presented itself, the fishing opportunities have been very productive. Even forced to stay inshore and fish the north shore reefs, they found “plenty of mackerel for the pan, and more pollack than we have ever gotten in that area. The ground was thick with sandeel and the pollock were in a frenzy. Even found this lovely little cod, very rare on the north shore.”

John has limited midweek availabilty for June, but with some settled weather hopefully on the way, its worth giving him a shout. Tope fishing is getting started, and he will be starting porbeagle shark trips shortly.
