Dominic McGowan wins the David Browne Memorial Cup on Lough Conn

On Sunday 21^st September the David Browne Memorial Cup was held and run on a catch, photograph and release basis. Twenty-eight anglers had a return of twenty-eight trout over the course of the day. An excellent return on a high lake accompanied by a North wind. All proceeds from the competition will go to The Irish Youths Fly Fishing Association.

Results:

• 1^st  Dominic McGowan. Three trout, 655 points
• 2^nd  Ronan O Reilly. Four trout, 650 points
• 3^rd  Richard Johnston. Three trout, 630 points
• 4^th  Francis Mc Sharry. Four trout, 625 points
