North West Charters report from Burtonport…
Despite sweltering temperatures and the occasional shower on Sunday, the crew from Carrick-on-Shannon enjoyed a fantastic day afloat with North West Charters. Several anglers were experiencing their first sea-fishing trip, making the successful outing all the more memorable.
Fishing proved excellent, with anglers catching mackerel, whiting, dogfish, pollack, cuckoo wrasse, and two species of gurnard (red gurnard and tub gurnard). A great day’s fishing was had by all, with plenty of fish and plenty of smiles to match.
