There been something approaching back to back competitions at Inniscarra over the last while and the fishing has been top class. In the most recent 3 day festival, the Granvilles Cup, finished on Friday last week. The top 6 anglers all weighed in over 40kg. John Fletcher was the winner there with 46.660kg and Pawel Swistun was just behind on 43.420kg.
The Centra 3 day match which finished on 02 September also saw some great bags of fish weighed in. And by good we mean the average weight per angler oeach day was over 13kg! The top 12 anglers all weighed in over 40kg, with the top 6 all surpassing 50kg. Rory Jones finished first on 59.810kg, Trev Platt wasn’t far behind on 57.950kg and in third wasΒ Mick Fordham on 55.500kg. The strongest finish went to Tom Scholey who amassed 26.360kg on the last day to leap up a few places to finish 4th.
