The Lurgan Coarse Anglers fished the final round of their summer league on the Ulster Blackwater at the Argory over the weekend. The fishing on the stretch hadn’t been great during the league, but it did manage to produce some good weights at the weekend, with Nick Seedon making the most of it to post a fine weight of 20.175kg to take the win from Johnny McKinley in second with 13.925kg.
But it was Johnny who took top honours over the course of the league, posting 6 points and winning on weight from Darren Cloran (also 6 points) with Nick Seedon on 7 points coming in third.
