Fisheries Information Manager Markus Müller reports from the IFI Ballina office on Carrowmore Lake:
Lough Beltra
Salmon fishing on Lough Beltra also picked up during the week. Glenisland Anglers Co-Operative report two fine salmon of 15 lbs. and 12 lbs. for two visiting anglers. Other successful anglers included Jackie Deffley who caught and released a fresh 9-pounder and Brian Gallagher who had a fine sea liced fish of 6 lbs. (also released). Most successful flies were Beltra Badger and Hairy Mary.
