Nigel Reed and Howard Watts from Torquay in the UK had a great weeks fishing at Melview Fishing Lodge, The pair are regular anglers to the lodge and know just what they have to do in order to produce good catches. Kevin said, thirty minutes after arriving it was off to the venue I had recommended. The few hours they had to fish produced some nice Roach for them, it was then in with the prebait mix for the following morning’s session.
The next day see the Bream move in onto the bait and they managed a joint weight of 120lb using the feeder approach, fishing only two selected venues and prebaiting every evening they manage to put together a joint weight of 740 lb for their six days fishing.
Kevin said, the guys have been coming for some years now and are always very keen to get out there and fish whatever the weather throws at them. Great week guys, well done and see you again next year.
All fish returned unharmed.
