Guide for trout & pike
Notes: The best months for trout fishing are April, May, June and September with Lough Arrow being a good venue for dapping a Mayfly and Lough Allen for big trout in September. David also fishes the Shannon and a few secret wild brown trout lakes and river., The Best time for pike is from September to March on various lakes and rivers and David can organise accommodation locally.
Boat Hire

We are a boat and bike hire business based at the IFI mudflats match fishing stands south of Carrick. Our boats are 19ft and 17ft Sheelins with 6hp engines also Pioneer multi hull wheelchair friendly with helmsman, boats can be hired from Mudflats or Carrick quays. Also large selection of adults and kids bikes for hire.
Notes
The Drowes Fishery is one of Ireland’s premier spring salmon and grilse fisheries. The river is some 5 miles in length, with over 70 named pools, flowing from Lough Melvin at Lareen Bay and entering the sea at Tullaghan, just outside Bundoran. The Drowes has a wide variety of water suitable for all fishing methods, including several miles of good fly water and deeper slower moving pools suitable for spinning and bait fishing.
