Angling Guide and guesthouse owner Kevin Lyons reports from Melview Lodge:

Jean-Pierre and friend Allan were over from Belgium for a spot of coarse fishing. J.P who is normally over 2 or 3 times a year to Melview Fishing Lodge for the Pike fishing decided to keep his friend Allan company while fishing for Bream. With high water levels and some very strong winds it was always going to be difficult. However they managed some nice Bream after a while along with some nice Roach and Hybrids.

When the end of the week arrived J.P could not resist having the last day out on the boat for some Pike sport. It proved to be a good day for them and they caught pike to over 90cm.
