Laois lads enjoy Wexford competition with good bags

The Portlaoise fishing team were very pleased with their competition at Oaklands Lake in New Ross on Sunday for the 8th round of the 2016 Course Fishing League. They tell us that all anglers caught respectable weights on the day.
The method feeder was the popular tactic with maggots and luncheon meat proving more successful.
Congratulations to Michal Kobryn who caught the heaviest bag of fish today (30lb).
Piotr Maliszewski came 2nd (19lb).
Jason Byrne finished in 3rd place with (16lb).
Well done to all anglers who took part and thanks to Oaklands New Ross for hosting the competition.
