There was more good fishing on the mighty River Shannon at Portumna at the weekend. Portumna Coarse Angling Club had a competition where almost 30lb was needed for a win.

In the catches were a few bream and some very nice roach to over 1lb. The event used 2 stretches, Town and Stick Ups with Stick Ups providing the better fishing.
