Experienced World Championship team member, Vincent Walsh will carry out a demonstration on fishing the Newry Canal on Saturday 21st March. This will include the preparation of groundbait, rigs and feeding and will be particularly useful to those who have been selected to fish the Celtic Cup on this venue, World Championship team members and those who have entered the new Junior Club Championships.
The format for the day will be as follows;
9.30 Meet
10.00 – 11.30 Demonstration by Vincent Walsh
11.30 – 3.30pm Fishing the venue/Coaching
All NCFFI junior club members are invited to attend. If you are under 18 you must be accompanied by an adult. Junior Team Ireland members are also invited to attend, please bring along your own bait and tackle for the fishing session.

A licence is required for the Canal and costs 3euro per season for Under 19, over 19 you can get a 3 day licence for 5 euro.
