A young lady from Navan impressed her Dad and all of us last weekend when she landed a fine pike from the Royal Canal. 10 year old Christina Barry was out fishing with Dad Chris in very stormy weather near Kilcock. She hooked her cracking fish using a floatfished deadbait. Keen angler Christina has set herself a goal to catch every species of freshwater fish in Ireland in 2014.
