Finea (sometimes spelt Finnea) is a very small village located to the south of Lough Sheelin and is on the upper River Inny system. It is situated in the Upper Shannon region on the borders of Co Westmeath and Cavan.
WHERE TO FISH
This guide covers the Upper River Inny, Lough Sheelin and a few small Coarse lakes, including Lough Kinale being the most renowned.
Important: Anglers please note that Lough Sheelin is classed as a trout fishery which permits pike angling subject to regulations for the fishery. All angling here closes on October 12th, including pike fishing.
