    This river and lake system drains a catchment of around 66 square miles.

    The lake holds a large stock of free rising wild Brown Trout which are great fighters and the occasional Char.

    The lower fishery is noted for its Sea Trout fishing.

    Boats are readily available for rent on the lake.

    Season – Salmon from 17th January to 30th September.
    Sea-Trout, 17th January to 12th October.
