Dublin Angling Initiative has been continuing its sterling work with young novice anglers and Des Chew and Josie Mahon of IFI have reported on recent events. Pictured below is Ryan Gleeson, age 15 fishing the Royal Canal as part of the 3 day summer fishing course run by the Dublin Angling Initiative. Ryan is one of more than 50 youngsters who participated in these courses during the month of July. Ryan caught this fish using a waggler with double red maggot as hook bait on the Royal Canal.
