River Feale by Paddy Halpin
Eight fish were reported for the past week on the Feale. The water level at the moment is low but still there is lots of good fly water and a good few anglers reported getting fish and releasing them again last week. One lucky angler landed a beautiful fresh fish on Saturday while Fly fishing the Killocrim/Finuge stretch of the Feale a 9 pounder. (pic Paul Henessy Limerick.)
The weather forecast this week is for more rain, and anglers are hoping that there might be some nice fishing water again before the fishery closes at the end of the month.
