KILLARNEY LAKES AND LOUGH LEANE
No report water very high
FLESK RIVER
16 salmon landed for the week, 9 of these were grilse averaging 3lbs. Also landed was a salmon of 5.5lbs and 2 salmon of 6lbs each, all caught on worm by mainly local anglers, there were 3 anglers from Cork City. Also 4 grilse, 3 weighing 4lbs each and 1 weighing 5lbs all landed on worms. Water very high.
RIVER LAUNE BEATS 1 AND 2
1 salmon landed on beat 1 weighing 8lbs on a black flying C by a Cork angler.
1 salmon landed weighing 8lbs at Johnston’s fishery by a local angler caught spinning.

Laune Salmon and Trout Anglers’ Association waters and Beat 3.
Water very high, lot of fish running the river but not stopping to take a fly or a spinning bait.
Beat 3 has been recently strimmed and is now very accessible and fishable. Plenty of water, salmon have to show at some stage.

RIVER BANDON
61 salmon landed for the week, on flies and spinners averaging 9 lb. each – no sea trout catches water too high.

RIVER LEE
31 salmon landed for the week averaging 8 lb. to 9 lb. each.
RIVER ILEN, RIVER COOMHOLA AND OUVANE RIVER
Ilen river – 17 salmon landed for the week, best a 14 lb. salmon landed last Sunday by John Nyhan, Club Member on a worm.
Coomhola river – 4 peel (grilse) landed for the week.
Ouvane river – 9 peel (grilse) landed for the week.
Mealagh River – 1 salmon of 9.5 lb. landed by Gearoid Crowley, local angler, spinning a flying C.
