Blue Shark, Ling, Bass and Sunfish among the species reported from Courtmacsherry this week.

Charter skipper Mark Gannon reports on more deep sea fishing for his clients fishing out from Courtmacsherry.

Plenty of Blues about, had 7 runs last Friday, 3 tagged , 210cm aprox weight 80 lb. was the biggest,  Plenty of whiting on the bottom.  Ling up to 16 lb. on the inshore wrecks, good conger on the reefs, with pollack, cod in abundance, most of the cod taken on pilkers.  A nice Sunfish was also recorded on the day.

Several Bass anglers reported good fishing over the weekend, with one angler releasing 10 fish up to 4 lb. on the Saturday.  Trolling with the selfdrives,  an angler had 3 Bass to 4lb. on Sunday at Low tide.
