Marlene McLaughlin from Cashel Lake View in the Sperrin mountains reports that despite the cooler temperatures anglers are still keen to give it a throw at Cashel. Using assorted dries, nymphs and buzzers some anglers did manage to make the connection with the cute rainbows. Sean Mc Williams (Park) used bloodworms and daddies to bank four while Derry’s Pat Nicell used the peter ross to bank two. Dungiven’s John Hasson and Martin Bradley spent an afternoon using f-flies and black buzzers to bank seven and three trout respectively.
