Beautiful weather and plenty of trout was just what we had at our annual competition at the weekend.
Cashel Perpetual Cup plus trophies for keeps was the prizes up for grabs at Cashel on Saturday the 27th October 2012. The Cashel Perpetual Cup (Mickey V Cup) and the trophies were all kindly sponsored once again by Mr Michael McCloskey (Vickey) Benedy, Dungiven.
1st prize – heaviest trout – Mr Liam Mullan (Limavady)
2nd prize – heaviest bag – Mr Pat Nicell (Derry)
3rd prize – runner up heaviest bag – Mr James McFeeley (Derry)
Our winners each received fishing tackle as part of their prize sponsored by Cashel Trout Fishery.
Many thanks to all who took part and made the day very enjoyable and prolific.
