Cashel Trout Fishery report by Marlene McLaughlin
An ideal weekend at Cashel for dry fly fishermen! That’s the verdict on the majority of anglers who fished this weekend. Johnny Kealey (Dungiven) and his brother Leo (Limavady) used assorted dries to bank nine in total while Derry’s Jason Wilson bagged one which took a hare’s ear. Francis Loane (Magherafelt) hooked and lost five in a couple of hours. Lawrence Newland (Fore glen) also got one on a daddy long legs. John Bailie (Ballywalter) banked five which took buzzers and dries.
